I am a new tenant to Medallion and thus far have had a great experience. I’ve mostly communicated with Ryan Schultz, who assisted in helping me secure my beautiful apartment. While there were a few touch ups required initially, Ryan was professional and responsive every time. I’ve been contacted by other Medallion employees and have had positive interactions with them as well.

Having had negative renting experiences and unprofessional landlords in the past, I am very grateful to now be working with a reputable property management company. I value Medallion’s responsiveness, kindness, and overall professionalism as a company. Overall, I am enjoying my new home and would recommend this management company to someone looking for a positive renting experience.

This has not always been my experience, but lately, Medallion Properties has been absolutely negligent when it comes to tenant safety and basic maintenance. I have called FOUR times to put in a maintenance request because I cannot use my kitchen sink. Every single time the sink is turned on, water pours from my basement ceiling. What makes this worse is that underneath my kitchen sink is completely dry (no pooling, no leaks, nothing) which clearly indicates a burst pipe inside the walls or floors. I was told multiple times that someone would reach out to me regarding this issue. It has been absolute crickets. No calls. No follow-up. I’ve also emailed about this issue and received zero responses. To make matters even more dangerous, the water is pouring near an electrical outlet where my sump pump is plugged in. Normally, unplugging it would seem like the safer option, but I cannot do that. I have separate, ongoing issues with outside water entering the basement due to cracks in the foundation, which has previously caused flooding and water pushing up through the basement floor drains which is an entirely separate issue from this current plumbing problem, yet it leaves me with no safe options. On top of that, the continued water exposure raises serious concerns about mold developing inside the walls, which could disrupt ventilation and create major health risks for me and my children. I have been calling since December 29, 2025, and today is January 3, 2026. That is nearly a week without running water in my kitchen and with a growing safety risk in my basement. Despite Medallion Properties actions (or the lack thereof) being unacceptable, unprofessional, and unsafe. In all fairness, I understand this happened very close to the New Year holiday, and I also understand that Medallion Properties likely manages a large number of units. However, there should be a system in place to gauge the seriousness of maintenance issues, especially those involving water damage and electrical risks. At the very least, someone should have contacted me to schedule an appointment to access the damages and properly fix (not just patch up) the issue.

Very Disappointing on the Transition of Becoming New Tenants of Medallion..Locksmith Only Changed my Front DeadBolt and Not ALL the Locks in One Visit..Was Told to Till the Following Monday..Meanwhile My Front Door Safety is a Issue..Only Left One Key When There is Two of Us in the Household..Then Im Told Can I Come and Burn My Gas to Their Office to Retreive a 2nd Key..First Impressions This Transition Get a D-..I See Things Will Get Worst Before They Get Better!

Terrible management company, maintenance issues get ignored for months. My ceiling collapsed due to work on the roof that I was not informed about. The collapse spread dust and debris throughout my entire studio apartment. It took my property manager, Joanie Klein, more than 24 hours to get back to me about what was going on. They claimed they couldn't get inside to clean up because I changed the locks (which never happened). Then they entered my home to "clean up" and changed my locks without giving me information about how to get back inside. I waited hours outside my apartment trying to contact them to help me get back in. They left my apartment a disaster with wood chunks and debris everywhere. They told me it was my responsibility to get it cleaned up with only a $250 credit to my account.** I now have to hire outside cleaners to come in and get rid of the debris their workers left and try to get the dust out of my bedding and clothes. I have asked Joanie several times to call me back so we can get this straightened out and she continues to ignore me. **Edit** They have now offered to reimburse my rent for the month and I finally heard back from my property manager. It took 4 days before I was able to have a conversation with someone. It is still my responsibility to get my apartment cleaned up and restored.

I wish there was a 0 rating I could give this company. Joanie Klein and her team are rude and unprofessional (especially Andre the maintenance guy). They took over management of a property a family member of mine had been residing in 3 years prior and increased the rent by $600. There have been no upgrades made to said property since they’ve been managing it. They attempted an illegal lock out which the police had to be called to tell them they were committing a crime. They like to use fear, intimidation and bullying as a means of communication. Run as fast as you can….do not use Medallion Property management.

I would First Like to Thank Joanie. She has been a pleasure to Lease under. Very understanding and Professional. I was a previous tenant for 2 years. When Something needed to be done she got it done. Talk about Standing on Business. On the flip side very sweet woman. She felt more like family. The way she talks to me has always been respectful. 5 Stars Medallion Property Management. Can never get in touch with anyone. Communication is horrible. Our air conditioning unit went out and they were very unconcerned. The management told us we were responsible for replacing their air conditioning unit. They were very cold and told us that was not their problem. The worst management team ever.

medallion properties is a joke to me. what I noticed that if a management company have to get you in a two-year lease it's a reason it because it's a reason behind it. now I'm not a very confrontational person medallion property has old units that they don't want to put work into last winter me and my children had to heat up our whole house with heaters provided by medallion and my stove which I have pictures also. They had to replace my whole furnace because it was only heating the downstairs in my living room and that my upstairs because it was old my doors are coming off the hinges because the screws are too small. My toilet over flooded. medallion property is trying to convince me in CHA because they cannot run into anyone else and get their room then me putting wipes in the toilet flooded my bathroom and these damages to my downstairs kids room. medallion property can be a good company they are cheap and they will blame anything on a tenant if they could it's sad because I thought that I would spend the next seven years in my unit. if you guys hate CHa tenant so much just rent a regular tenants and collect regular rent but you can't I normally don't like to tasha but I will do everything in my power to prove my innocence if that means leaving the CHA program and getting me a lawyer

They do not manage their properties and constantly lie about when they will be out to do repairs. My mother has called numerous times about the roof being repaired and also about foundation issues however they still have not made the repairs but had the nerve to call her and ask her to remove a bad review she gave on their services
